ARLINGTON, VA—Today, Driving Force Action announced the release of an ad highlighting the damage federal electric vehicle mandates supported by Vice President Harris will have on small Pennsylvania businesses like D’Antonio Automotive in West Chester. The ad, featuring Tony D’Antonio, will begin airing on August 5 on television, online, and social media.
The Biden-Harris-imposed EV mandates will effectively eliminate the sale of new gas-powered cars. Like President Biden, Kamala Harris has long supported and advocated for electric vehicles and is expected to continue the Biden Administration’s radical EV mandates.
The Harris-supported federal vehicle mandates threaten the existence of the specialty equipment industry, which supports more than 40,000 Pennsylvania jobs and generates $9.26 billion for the state’s economy. “EV mandates may benefit Harris donors in tony enclaves like Napa Valley, Aspen, and Martha’s Vineyard but they will devastate working Pennsylvania families struggling to make ends meet and will have a chilling effect on state manufacturing jobs,” said DFA Spokesman Scot Crockett. “Moreover, Harris’ EV policy will destroy the automotive aftermarket parts industry nationally—a $336 Billion industry employing over 1 million Americans,” Crockett continued.
